Arrival, Check-in and What to Wear

Q: When should I aim to arrive at the resort?
Answer: Lessons begin on snow at 10:00am and 1:00pm. So you should plan to arrive at the resort at least 1 hour prior to your desired lesson start time to allow ample time for parking, equipment fitting and check-in.

Q: What should I do if I am running late for my lesson?
Answer: We try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, especially on days with high volume, by running additional start times. Just relax and get to the mountain safely and we will do our best to have something for you when you arrive.

Q: Where should I go to check-in?
Answer: Head straight to the Rental Tech Center, located in the Tye Creek Lodge to collect your rental equipment and check-in for your lesson

Q: What equipment is included with the package?
Answer: Ski/Snowboard boots and Skis & Poles/a Snowboard. Helmets are not included, or required, but can be rented for $11/day and will reduce the risk of injury.

Q: What should I wear?
Answer: Prepare for changing weather but dress with warmth and mobility in mind. We recommend wearing several light layers and ensuring that the outermost layer is waterproof, so waterproof jacket and pants. It is also important to wear a single pair of thin, synthetic, long socks. Sports socks work best.

Q: What accessories should I bring?
Answer: Waterproof gloves, a hat that covers your head and ears, and eye protection from the sun and falling snow.

Q: Do you rent/sell clothing/accessories?
Answer: We do have snow jackets and snow pants available for rental. We do not rent accessories for hygiene reasons but do sell gloves, goggles, socks and more at our retail outlets at very competitive prices.
