Adventure Ski Camp

For Advanced through Expert Adult Skiers

Sharpen your skills in the wild and rugged terrain of the Central Cascades.  This camp is for aggressive skiers looking to build their skiing skills in the steep and the deep and for basic snow safety knowledge in avalanche terrain.  Each coach will have a maximum of 5 skiers per group.  We will provide video analysis (weather permitting) to help you see your strengths and better facilitate the needed changes for you to achieve your skiing goals.  You will ski mostly black diamond to double black diamond runs on the first day to prepare you for day 2.  Day two, you will review what you learned on the previous day and build to the finale’ - Learn to “rip sick phat lines” off the top of Cowboy Ridge with celebrity coach Jim Jack Jim, hailing from the mountain town of Leavenworth, WA., has many years of free skiing competitions under his belt.  Upon retiring from competition several years ago he took on the role of “Lead Judge for the Free Skiing World Tour.”   Two years ago, he took his knowledge and expertise in the free skiing world to another level and became the new president of the International Free Skiers Association (IFSA).  The IFSA is the sanctioning body for the World Free Skiing Tour and has an integral role in setting the standards for competition criteria in all the sanctioned competitions in the U.S. and abroad.  Jim and your coaching staff will share with you their insight on how to read the mountain, manage your speed, control fear, save your energy, how to visualize the perfect line and stomp your landings.  They are stoked to meet you and go rip with you.

Coaches:

Our 4 person coaching staff, all long time Stevens Pass locals, has a combined 100+ years of ripping, competing and coaching experience.  They have logged countless hours in the Cascade backcountry and wildness of Stevens Pass and are committed to dialing up your skiing to its fullest potential in the steep, deep and gnarly.
